Social and Communications Research

The RedBridge Group specialises in providing solutions informed by researched insight into complex social, political and communication challenges.
We combine our in-depth understanding of communities with our political, community and corporate experience to help organisations and decision-makers navigate the complex challenges they face in a rapidly evolving social, commercial and political landscape.

Our insight comes from understanding the core motivations and mindsets of target communities (especially hard-to-reach audiences). Key to our work is enabling our clients to understand and respond to the experiences and perspectives of their communities of interest: we believe empathy drives trust.

To this end, we utilise a range of qualitative and quantitative methods:
\
“Deep dive” qualitative research into audience attitudes and behaviours
\
Organisational attitudinal analysis
\
Opinion polling
\
Socio-demographic analyses
\
Communication messaging/creative development and testing
Our team then brings extensive experience in connecting research to communications and advocacy campaigns – using insight to inform strategy.
RedBridge is a member of the Australian Polling Council and our Research Director, Simon Welsh, is a Member of The Research Society.

Advocacy & Social License

In a volatile and fragmented advocacy landscape, a credible voice and the increasingly elusive trust of the community are needed to effect lasting change.

Through our decades of experience in managing stakeholder and community sentiment in political, social and commercial arenas, we can deliver compelling, effective strategy and communication that will resonate with our target audience and build our clients’ ability to influence decisions.

We aim to achieve influence through:

\

Evidence

We arm our clients with the research-based, community-oriented case for change.
\

Mutual Benefit

We work to deliver outcomes that provide shared benefits for our clients, decision-makers, and the community
\

Coalition Building

We bring key stakeholders, the media and public opinion with us to create a coalition for change

Polling & Political Research

RedBridge maintains an ongoing program of qualitative, quantitative and demographic research to monitor changes in community sentiment and public opinion regarding politics – enabling us to understand the emerging pressures for decision-makers and our clients.

Our Directors are frequently sought for expert commentary on issues relating to community sentiment research as well as political analysis on state and federal political arenas, including recent ABC state and federal election coverage.

We draw upon, and share, the insights from this work as a value-add to our clients to help them navigate a rapidly evolving social and advocacy landscape.
