Redbridge conducted a survey within the Northern Territory aimed at gaining insights into both Territory and Federal voting intentions. In addition, insights on the support for social services were collected, aimed at highlighting the broad community support for a sector that now acts as a critical safety net for a growing number of Australians.

Given the rare polling in the Territory, Redbridge utilised an automated phone system for the survey. (Phone survey response rates and polling fatigue have yet to become a barrier in the Territory). A couple of caveats. The sample skews towards higher educated Territorians and would not entirely have captured more remote communities. Higher education normally correlates with a strong Labor vote.

The gap between the major parties is beyond the margin of error and the listed caveats. A full Redbridge-funded report can be downloaded here. Northern Territory Social Services-11
